The Bard was founded in December 2019 by Isabel Milford and Sarah Haque. They sat in a lecture that posed the question: “How many of you have been published?” When almost no one raised their hand, they thought, ‘Alright, we’ll do it ourselves then’. The team is proud to carry on this tradition of creative diversity and representation.
The Bard is a place for creatives at City, University of London to showcase their talents. We publish various multimedia content, including short stories, poetry, essays, articles, art, photography, videos, and music.
